Sales Coordinator - Union Iron

Position Summary:
Coordinates and executes all quoting efforts for a designated region. This includes reviewing drawings and quote requests, sizing and selecting appropriate products, and preparing quotes for customers. Additionally, this person will enter sales orders, coordinate the approval process and track progress until orders have shipped. Provides post-sale customer service and technical support to current and potential customers over the phone and in person. 

Responsibilities & Duties:
Quote grain handling equipment and projects by reviewing customer drawings/RFQ’s, deciding which processes/products are applicable to a given situation and how to best obtain results consistent with company practice.
Work with customers to provide sales support and customer service over the phone and in person. Creatively promote and explain products and address pricing questions.   
Create orders and ensure appropriate approvals are received.
Oversee order milestones and respond to any issues prior to shipment. Ensure customers are kept up to date on order status and shipment details. 
Assist with trade show set-up and staffing as needed.
Provide general post-sale customer service and technical support, including troubleshooting and drawing retrieval.
Continually enhance knowledge of Union Iron products and services in order to provide quality sales support.
Performs additional related duties as requested or required.

Knowledge:
Four year Business, Agricultural or similar degree, and/or equivalent experience. In addition, 1-5 years’ experience in complex customer service or sales. Strong knowledge of blueprints and grain handling systems preferred. Valid Driver’s License and proficient level of Microsoft Office required.
